Specifics: All beds are full size except for the queen-size bed in the
main bed chamber. All bed chambers have central air conditioning. Ceiling height upstairs in the old part of the house is 6 feet (originally the house was taxed as 1-1/2 stories); in the loft it is 7 feet. The Riggs House is smoke-free. Center bed chamber Directions: Take Rte. 128 north and east. When you reach Gloucester you will go over a high bridge. At the traffic circle below take the third exit marked Rte. 127 - Annisquam and Pigeon Cove. After 1.5 miles the landmark on the right is the Willow Rest, a convenience store and the only gas station after the traffic circle. The first left after Willow Rest is Vine Street. When the street curves left with woods on the right, slow down and turn right at the Thomas Riggs mailbox, no. 27.  |
